After college, he moved to Las Vegas, where he opened a nightclub. He then moved to Nevada and opened his first brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, in 1992. Hof has since opened six more brothels in Nevada, including the Love Ranch, the Kit Kat Ranch, and the Alien Cathouse. He has also appeared in several television shows, including the HBO series Cathouse, and has written two books about his experiences in the brothel business.
